Gas Buydown, August 30, 2008
As Gas prices soar to historic levels, Coastal Community Church will sponsor an event that will offer much needed relief at the pump. On August 30, 2008, the third annual "Gas Buy-Down" will be held at the Shark Mart Mobil gas station located on the corner of C.R. 512 and C.R. 510 in Sebastian. Beginning at 4:00p.m. the price at the pump will be reduced by $0.50 per gallon. The event will continue until 2,000 gallons of gas are sold. The discount will be limited to 20 gallons per customer in order to provide the discount to as many people as possible. Sami and Mike, the owners of Shark Mart Mobil, are pleased to partner with the church in order to offer this unique price reduction to their customers.
Block Party, September 6, 2008
As a follow-up event, the church will be hosting a community-wide block party the following Saturday, September 6th, at Riverview Park located on U.S. 1 and C.R.512 in Sebastian. Multiple inflatable bounce houses, a Bungee Run and carnival games will all be on site for families to enjoy. A live D.J. will keep the fun alive with music and giveaways from local businesses. Hotdogs, cotton candy and snow cones will also be available. The entire event is free to the public and will run from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on September 6th.Why?
